BEVERLY CARMICHAEL, May 2014Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Inc. appointed Beverly Carmichael as chief people officer of the restaurant chain with 72,000 employees in 42 states. Carmichael previously was senior vice president of labor and employee relations and vice president of people at Southwest Airlines Co.

 

 


Stephanie Gooden

STEPHANIE GOODEN May 2014Taco John’s International Inc. appointed Stephanie Gooden to vice president of human resources. A 29-year employee of the Mexican fast-food chain, Gooden moved from receptionist to HR assistant in 1986, then was promoted to HR manager in 1997 and director of HR in 2010. She assisted in the company’s search for a CEO in 2013 and implemented pre-employment testing that reportedly reduced turnover by 24 percent.

 

 


Mike EttlingMike Ettling , May 2014

SAP named Mike Ettling as head of global cloud HR. A seasoned executive with global experience, Ettling will oversee the Cloud for HR line of business and assist in managing the more than 17,000 customers worldwide using its products. Ettling previously was CEO at NGA Human Resources.
