Guaranteed Rate Taps New Chief Human Resources Officer

Guaranteed Rate named Monica Horger as chief human resources officer for the Chicago-based mortgage lender.

In her prior roles, she led HR at the mortgage division of MB Financial Bank and worked in executive HR roles at Michigan First Credit Union and Quicken Loans. As Guaranteed Rate chief human resources officer, Horger will lead the HR team with the aim to “strengthen Guaranteed Rate’s position as a company that helps its people thrive and deliver an exceptional digital mortgage experience,” according to a press release announcing the hire.

“Monica is poised to drive performance through partnership with executive leadership, further developing our talent and reinforcing our core values,” said Nikolaos Athanasiou, chief operating officer at Guaranteed Rate, said in a statement. “We are excited to increase team efficiency by implementing stronger processes and utilizing technology to align with employee needs.”
