Lets put all the senator paychecks on hold. And only when the unemployment extension is passed, they can have there checks back. But while we\\\'ve been holding their checks, we also reduced their income by half. And oh yes by the way, no more free medical health insurance for you and your entire families. Then let\\\'s see how you fare. You are all a bunch of crooks. Coruption at it\\\'s highest. Our government got all of us into this mess, and we\\\'ve earned our unemployment by HAVING A JOB(WHICH NOW WE DON\\\'T) My company went out of business because of the down turn in the economy. Let\\\'s just see how all of the senators would be if they had no jobs, and no means of supporting their families. HMMM, I wonder what they would do? You help other countries and give them money and don\\\'t blink an eye to do so. But \\\'OH MY GOSH, HELP THE UNEMPLOYED\\\' WHAT ARE WE THINKING? WE CAN\\\'T DO THAT, WE NEED TO PASS ALL THESE OTHER AMMENDEMENTS EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE UNEMPLOYMENT EXTENSION. \\\'BUT OH WELL, WHO CARES, WE\\\'LL SHOW THOSE DEMOCRATS THAT THEY CAN\\\'T PUSH US AROUND. WE\\\'LL JUST STALL THIS BILL BECAUSE THEY WANT IT PASSED.
I\\\'M ASHAMED TO BE AN AMERICAN BECAUSE OF OUR STUPID STUPID GOVERNMENT.

I agree with you! It's time the government invested in the "People" rather than their own self serving sorry agenda's and programs along with the numerous companies that got us in this mess.

We "The People", need to look at what we are paying (package wise) for our Senator's and Congressmen! Ask yourself, "Will the Senator's and Congressmen arguing and bickering over how The Peoples insurance will come out" .... Will these Senator's and Congressmen have to live with this service and these laws like The People?

Do you think you will see your Senator or Congressmen standing in line waiting for a Med Check up? They are "SPECIAL" and have voted over the years a SPEACIAL ENVIRONMENT FOR THEMSELVES TO LIVE AND WORK IN.

If we The People are supposed to be in charge of our country by way of the vote, then we need to vote that "we can no longer afford to support them" and they need to ride the bus, fly coach and work remote in order to save we The People movey.

Oh, and one more thing.... right now we cannot afford our White House, he can work remote and sign papers with a Dollar Store pen rather than, God only knows what we paid for that case of pens he signs documents with.

By leasing out the White House, that should pay for some after school programs he is so concerned about but only willing to have other's pay for.

There.... I'm done! For now at least.

I changed my 40 year affiliation with the Republican party last November and their actions on the unemployment extension just confirms that i made the right decision. Just maybe we could cut down just a little of the aid we spend to help defend those in other countries> Maybe we could help feed Americans without jobs.

This delay in passing an unemployment extension is ridiculous!!!!! It\'s fine to use money to stimulate job growth but that isn\'t going to happen over night. In the meantime, people who have been unemployed and are not able to find jobs need to be able to pay bills so they don\'t end up in foreclosure or on the street. Is the next crisis going to be the number of homeless people who are on the street because they have no moneyt for food, housing, etc. Why aren\'t these legislatures smart enough to look into the future. As far as GOP comments about providing more unemployment benefits hindering people\'s initiative to look for work - HUH??? How does extending an already existing benefit going to do that? If people don\'t want to look for work, they aren\'t going to look during the first 26 weeks of unemployment. How does an extension impact their desire for work? Typical GOP tactics and lame excuses for not wanting to help the middle class. Meanwhile, they have no problem bailing out the big corporations, right?
