Global Work Watch Workforce Management staff writer Ed Frauenheim is based in San Francisco, where he covers HR technology, workforce management practices at tech companies and issues of leadership, talent management and corporate culture. He has written extensively about offshoring and outsourcing. In early 2007, he completed a three-week reporting trip to China.

Frauenheim has been a journalist for more than a decade. He spent four years at technology media firm CNET Networks and four years at the Oakland Tribune chain of newspapers. He also has worked as a freelance writer for publications including Salon.com, The Dallas Morning News and the San Jose Mercury News.
