Everyone is facing strains--even top Fortune 500--companies. What's important is that executives and managers understand these strains and show some compassion to their employees. Just because employees are satisfied doesn't mean they are engaged--all companies need to pay attention to the needs of their employees. You may not be able to fix the strains and pains, but just understanding the hardships they are facing can go a long way to employee loyalty.
