The "lip service" you mentioned is exactly why employees won't engage in the first place. Not only is home-grown talent development old-school, but leaders shoot themselves in the foot by not building trust to begin with. Employees are not stupid--they can detect insincerity from miles away.

This book sounds really good--like a breath of fresh air.

Thanks for the review!

Bilingual required: Why and what long term purpose does this concession serve to our organizations of today and tomorrow?
The english language is spoken in just about every upcoming developing country for the expressed purpose of acting like and becoming westernize. Permitting the continued endorsement of allowing medocrity in our workers only perpetuates distinction and class separation.
English required is a stronger message for the melting pot when Talent is truely a top Priority.
