Religion at Work ?  This was the last straw...In this article they are actually encouraging this practice.  After having the experience in working for a company that catered too one religious organization, I can tell you the experience of not being part of the mega church was terrible.  If you didn't pray you were not a team player.  This means bible study before the opening of a meeting with Corporate HR turning the other way for fear of losing there jobs..

SHRM advertised at the political events when SO MANY OF US ARE UNEMPLOYED IN THE INDUSTRY AND THERE ARTICLES FEATURE OUTSOURCING AS A WAY TO ONLY SAVE BIG CORP HR HEADS..

They want us to purchase seminars for 1500 a pop and I am not taking that amount of money in per month. Because I am unemployed, why am I paying my dues ????

Perhaps every member of SHRM should be allowed to vote not just a select few.  You have a lot of power writing this blog please get the word out...We need changes.  They are in my opinion stealing our money for there own profit and our organization needs to be changed from the bottom up

BOTTOM UP old SHRM needs to understand the new political climate will no longer allow bad behavior on the part of employers.  SHRM has become an enabler of bad behavior.
